Xirrus XR-520 Wireless Access Point

The Xirrus XR-520 Wireless Access Point is a a new class of low cost, cloud provisioned and manageable Access Point. The XR-520 provides superior price/performance in a zero touch Wi-Fi AP that delivers uncompromised performance to ensure applications always work. 

The Xirrus XR-520 is the only Access Point where it is possible to dynamically switch between both 2.4 & 5Ghz bands, and a full 5Ghz network. The XR-520 is the ideal solution for providing robust wireless connectivity in areas of low-to-medium user density. Example use cases include hotel rooms, dormitories, hospital rooms, health clinics, office spaces, and retail areas.

The 2 radio, 802.11n XR-520 AP supports an onboard controller with a dual core network processor to deliver the performance needed to operate advanced services directly at the network edge. The Xirrus XR-520 supports complete application-level recognition and policy enforcement, an industry first in a wireless AP.

The XR-520 is part of the complete line of performance-scaled XR wireless products ranging from 2 to 16 radios and running the advanced ArrayOS operating system. Management is provided with the Xirrus Management System (XMS), including cloud and on-premise deployment options.
